Alternately known as a simple processor, monolithic integrated signal, or microchip, IC is Stands for Integrated Signal or Integral Processor and was initially launched like an idea by Geoffrey Dummer a British radar manufacture on May 7, 1952 and later effectively produced by Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce and first exhibited Sept 12, 1958.

The IC is just a bundle comprising paths, several tracks, transistors, along with other digital elements all operating together to do perhaps a number of capabilities or a specific purpose.

Initially launched via a successful Kickstarter campaign in May 2015. The campaign started with a goal of $50,000 US Dollars, ended with 39,560 backers pledging $2,071,927.
